We understand the railway is a close knit network and we know how important it is to protect applicants confidentiality, that’s why safety of the line references are only requested once applicants have accepted a job offer with us. Our HR team take care to treat applicant information in the strictest confidence and we abide by the GDPR legislation. Q) Do we employ Trainee Train Drivers off the street?
Yes we do. GBRf are proud to offer amazing railway opportunities for those looking to enter the industry. We have run many ‘straight to driver’ training programmes and we are looking to offer even more as we know how important it is to bring new talent into the railway industry as a whole. Yes. GB Railfreight run apprenticeships across our UK offices within administration, Safety, Engineering and Commercial. We offer structured and on-the-job training helping you develop key knowledge and skills to build your future career.
Alongside studying a professional qualification, you will work in a busy and challenging role delivering high quality service, in a fast paced environment.
