Following the publication of the Labour Party’s plan for rail this morning, GB Railfreight is encouraged by the vision set out in the document and the clarity it provides for the rail freight sector, particularly the commitment to support the growth of the industry.

GB Railfreight’s Chief Executive Officer, John Smith said; “We welcome Labour’s plans to seize the huge economic potential of rail freight – an industry which already contributes £2.45 billion to the UK economy.
